Charlotte Lowry Collins

Artist Charlotte Lowry Collins’ work can be seen at Gallery 2010 Front St. in Slidell, Louisiana. Her work has shown in galleries and museums across Louisiana, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee as well as nationally and internationally. An active member in her hometown community in the past, she was actively involved with the Slidell Commission on the Arts and the St. Tammany Parish Cultural Arts Commission. As an art educator, she has served as Assistant Coordinator for the Talented Arts program, and was a tenured Associate Professor of Art at Kennesaw State University, was the Director for Northshore School of the Arts, and Coordinator for Early Start Program for the Arts at Southeastern Louisiana University. Her presentations, lectures, art, workshops and publications have been presented nationally and internationally. She has returned home to the Bayou Liberty area and now teaches at Southeastern Louisiana University and is the Director of the Olde Towne Arts Center.

Patricia Hart

Patricia Hart is a teacher in the school system’s Talented Arts Program since 1977, she is also a committed yoga practitioner & teacher. She sees life as art and paints, sculpts, crafts, cooks and gardens while striving for a handmade life. She is currently working in fiber arts and recently illustrated the book “Ungulations” for Surregional Press. She has taught public and private classes, curated exhibits and collaborated to create the Krewe of Mona Lisa & Moon Pie parade. She founded Studio We with her poet husband, Dennis Formento, and also likes to ride her bike and whistle.

Mary DuBuisson

Owner and manager of DuBuisson’s Art Corner. She is the recent recipient of the Athena Award, a prestigious award Sponsored by the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce for Women who have significantly contributed to the community and women specifically. She is also a winner of Dancing with the Stars in Slidell, a local dance competition that was a fundraiser for the Slidell Women’s Civic Organization. Mary is active in many local organizations, some of which include Chair of the Slidell Commission on the Arts. She also is an actor performing in community theaters, and enjoys pottery classes and reading - - all in her spare time!
